At this virtual workshop, participants learned about the Zoning Code Update, including the General Plan 2040 goals and policies that are guiding this process. The workshop included a presentation, time for questions and answers, and a discussion about the key issues the Zoning Code Update should address.

At this study session, the Planning Commission will receive a presentation on the Residential Zoning Districts and provide feedback on how to proceed with updating the R1 through R4 Zoning Districts. No final decisions will be made at this meeting. The Zoning Code Key Issues Online Survey was open from January 15, 2026, through March 30, 2026.
The Zoning Code Update Online Survey #2 collected input on single-family residential regulations, commercial business uses, building heights, and landscaping requirements. The survey was open from April 20, 2026 through May 31, 2026.
