Planning Commission Public Hearing – General Plan 2040 Land Use Map Amendments
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 7:00pm, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review and recommend to the City Council approval of General Plan 2040 Land Use Map amendments for 13 sites across the city where the General Plan 2040 land use designations were either inconsistent with the existing and/or surrounding land uses or required revision to reflect City Council direction. The City will also introduce the General Plan Interim Implementation Procedures Memo, which will guide staff and applicants on development standards for parcels with General Plan 2040 land use designations that lack corresponding zoning districts until the comprehensive update of the zoning code is complete in approximately two years.
